Over seventeen days, I wrote nineteen posts on racism, exploring issues such as defunding the police, reparations, rioting, reforms and Conservatism, and Catholic reporting on these issues.
I’m quite happy that my gay and trans friends will not have to worry about being jobless because someone discovers their sexual orientation or gender identity. That being said, I see the decision as a mixed bag.
First, we should be cautious about rumors and conspiracy theories.
To be a “good cop” is to be a cop who speaks out. To have been a good cop is to have spoken out before May 25.
The argument is simple and straightforward. Which is shocking, given the fact that I’ve never before seen it made.
