A little over a year ago, I published a book of writings, “I Desired You: An Intellectual Journal on Faith and Sexuality.” That book collected six years of writings on exploring what it means to be gay and Catholic in the world today. It explored the meaning of homosexuality, how to think about desire, coming out, acceptance, and friendship.
Now I’m out with a second collection. “I Desired You: Volume II” includes questions on the meaning of sexuality, chastity, and integration, as well as practical topics like gay Catholic dating, talking to your father, and living in community. While working within the framework of Catholic teaching and tradition, this book seeks ways to be gay and Catholic in the world today. As always, comments, questions, and critiques are quite welcome! And feel free to share with your friends!
